Bricklaying Robot Lays 1000 Bricks in 1 Hour

A new bricklaying robot–designed to build an entire house in two days–was originally created to help meet labor shortages. But the robot can also cut construction waste and save so much money that it could be a viable way to build low-cost housing even in the poorest communities in the world.

The new Hadrian X has a 30 meter boom and can place bricks at 1000 per hour, beating previous robots who only managed 225 bricks per hour. This new robot can also handle different sizes of brick as well as cutting, grinding and milling before laying bricks.
